A:Yes, at Cedar Saddlery we use English Leather, bought from our suppliers in England – It is of the highest quality and has a lovely finish.
A:We do both handmade, and machine at Cedar Saddlery, both are of excellent quality – but handmade work is a real “art” and makes each item unique. There can be slight “imperfections” when handmaking and these can add real character to a piece. Handmade can also be easier for getting those “one off” items – because you don’t have to “stick to a pattern”.
A:Once a price has been agreed, we will start work as soon as possible. Most leather items will be delivered within three weeks. Although some custom work may take up to a month. We will advise you as to how long your items will take when you place your order.
Q: I’m concerned that I will get the “made to measure” measurements wrong!
A:Don’t worry, we can help with this. We can advise you about the best ways to measure for the item you require. Just be sure to make your measurements as accurate as possible and let us know if your using INCHES or CENTIMETRES.
We are also able to offer a measuring service and come out to your Horse, Dog, etc although this is dependent on geographical location.
